    FAQ

    Certified Translation questions

Will USCIS accept your certified translation?

USCIS requires a complete English translation with a certification that the translator is competent to translate and the translation is accurate. Our certificates are prepared to meet that requirement.

Can you help me fill out immigration forms?

No. We provide translation and interpreting only. We are not a law firm and cannot give legal or immigration advice, choose forms or complete applications. For those, please consult a licensed attorney or a DOJ-accredited representative.

What is the difference between certified and notarized?

A certified translation attests to accuracy. Notarization verifies the identity of the person signing the certification. Some institutions require both; we provide either.
