Interpreting · In-person · Consecutive & simultaneous

When it matters most, be in the same room.

Some conversations deserve a human presence — a difficult diagnosis, a deposition, a parent meeting, a negotiation. Our on-site interpreters are matched to the setting and briefed before they arrive. Certified court or medical interpreters can be requested where available.

FAQ

On-Site Interpreting questions

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend 48–72 hours for common languages and one week for rare languages. Same-day urgent requests are accepted whenever an interpreter is available.

What is consecutive vs. simultaneous interpreting?

Consecutive interpreting happens in turns after each speaker pauses — ideal for appointments and depositions. Simultaneous interpreting happens in real time — ideal for courtrooms and conferences.

Can I request a court-certified interpreter?

Yes. Tell us when you book. We arrange state- or federally-certified court interpreters where available, and qualified interpreters for languages that have no certification program.
